Summer Conditioning Opportunity

Mark your calendar for Monday, April 10!  There is an exciting opportunity for Beresford School District students to become better athletes and to increase their overall athletic and physical development.  The Beresford Schools have been working in cooperation with Coach Mark Roozen, who has experience working as a strength and conditioning coach in the NFL, and Beresford High School Alum Kyle McKelvey to develop a summer conditioning program that will help develop all participants' strength, coordination, flexibility, and mobility.  This program will start shortly after school is out in May and will continue until the beginning of August.  There will be two opportunities for students and adults to gain more information about this program.  First, during Advisory period on Monday, April 10, all students will be invited to the gym to see a live demonstration of what will take place in the sessions.  That evening (Monday, April 10 at 7:00 PM), there will be a demonstration open to the community where parents will get a a chance to see how the program will work.  There will be refreshments and a time to ask questions of the instructors.  Three different classes will be offered in the community this summer if numbers demand:
  1. High School/Middle School Sessions
  2. Elementary Sessions (Jr. Level)
  3. Adult Book Camp
