The Beresford School District proudly announces that Dr. Renee Anderson was awarded the Southeast Area Principals Pyramid Award for Visionary and Progressive Change Agent on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Dr. Anderson understands her core values, assesses the environment, and helps staff and administration make changes that impact learning, our culture, and, most importantly, our learners. Dr. Anderson keeps staff informed of BMS/BHS events through her weekly newsletter. More so, Dr. Anderson communicates our efforts regarding servant leadership (one of our four pillars) through her parent/community newsletter. Dr. Anderson showcases how our learners serve others through their actions. More so, Dr. Anderson promotes growth, grit, grace, and greatness through her positive disposition. No challenge is insurmountable for us. Dr. Anderson is a first-year principal who has a first-year assistant principal under her direction. Through purposeful communication connected to her vision - our school culture and climate have improved regarding what we expect of our learners and staff; and how we can collectively work together to meet learner needs.
