Beresford School District 61-2

Facility Improvement Efforts. The Beresford School District intends to address our ongoing needs concerning space at the South Campus. As such, we are considering options to add gymnasium and lobby space and remodel existing infrastructure. For our next project, we will not seek a bond vote. Rather, we intend to fund our projects with capital outlay cash and a capital outlay certificate (e.g., think of it as a loan for schools to be paid over 15 years). At 6:00 p.m., on November 11, 2024, Architecture Incorporated will join us for the board meeting for agenda item #14 -Review and discuss preliminary designs for South Campus improvements (e.g., lobby, renovations, restrooms, concessions, gymnasium space, etc.). Based on voter feedback, we must tackle our improvement efforts "One Piece At a Time." This work requires us to project, reflect, and balance/prioritize various competing needs.
