Beresford had three categories of Oral Interpretation qualify for the SDHSAA State Oral Interp Festival held December 3, 2021, through December 4, 2021, in Huron, South Dakota. All three students attending received Superior Ratings and Beresford received one of the 2021 State Oral Interp Team Excellence Awards.
Max Josko and Laney Andrews received a Superior Rating in Duet Acting. Emma Andrews received a Superior in Poetry and a Superior with Distinction in Storytelling. The Superior with Distinction award means that she received a perfect score from all three of the judges. Emma Andrews was the only performer out of 15 Class A storytelling entries to receive this special award. The team is coached by Mrs. Ann Tornberg.
