Congratulations to the BHS One Act Play Cast and Crew who received numerous awards at today’s State One Act Play Festival! They were awarded the Outstanding Ensemble for the cast, Outstanding Performers for Caleb Weiland and Dani Larsen, and the coveted Superior Play!


Congratulations to BHS senior Dayshon Adams who signed his national letter of intent to attend school and play football for the Morningside College Mustangs in Sioux City, Iowa! Dayshon is the son of Jill Adams and grandson of Doug and Rita Adams.

Congratulations to juniors Ashleigh Colford and Emelye Josko on receiving a gold rating on their “Team Professional Presentation” at the FCCLA Region Competition held in SF on Jan. 24! They will now advance to the State in SF in April! Their Advisor is Mrs. Karmon Schroeder.

Tonight, BHS will host the first round of the Big East Conference GBB Tourney. #8 seed Parker will play #1 seed MCM at 6:00. #5 seed Sioux Valley will play our #4 seed Watchdogs at 7:30. Beresford will also host the second round on Friday evening at 6:00 and 7:30. Good Luck!

Tonight, the BAH Wrestling Team will dual McCook Central/Montrose at 5:00 p.m. and Wagner at 6:15 p.m. Those will be the only two matches at Alcester this evening. Good luck to our BAH Wrestling Team!

BHS senior Caden Ringling has his scholarship audition at SDSU this weekend. He performed his percussion solo for our BHS and BMS Bands. His drum solo is titled, “Tribute” by Jeff Queen. Caden is a member of our BHS Band, SuFuDu in 18-19, and Groove Pursuit in 19-20.



The BHS National Honor Society will host a Soup Benefit for Jamie and Justin Gravely on Thursday, January 30 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the BHS Gym Lobby. This is a free-will donation event with all proceeds donated to the Gravely family to help with Jamie’s medical expenses.
